Jordanne is a warm and empathetic clinician who holds a Masters of Science in Psychotherapy from McMaster University. Her training and education has focused on Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based modalities such as Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MCBT). Jordanne received training at the Anxiety Treatment and Research Clinic and Seniors Mental Health outpatient clinic at St. Josephs’ Healthcare Hamilton where she supported individuals with mood and anxiety-related concerns.
Jordanne currently holds a position at the Anxiety Treatment and Research Clinic where she supports individuals with a wide variety of anxiety difficulties including social anxiety, perfectionism, and panic disorder. In addition, Jordanne has experience as a crisis counsellor for Health Canada.
Jordanne is passionate about supporting individuals who may struggle with low mood, social anxiety, general worry and low self-esteem. She works to empower clients through a strengths-based approach, helping them realize their potential and reach their goals. She values creating a safe and welcoming space, and is committed to providing each individual the opportunity to be heard, cared for and validated.
In her free time, you can find Jordanne hiking and camping or trying a new coffee shop in town. She has also recently rediscovered her love for art and enjoys watercolour painting!
