she/her

Maggie is committed to providing a safe and accepting space to support individuals on their journey to mental and emotional well-being. With a Master of Science in Psychotherapy from McMaster University and clinical experience providing individual and group psychotherapy at St. Joseph’s Healthcare, Maggie is well-equipped to assist clients managing a range of concerns, including anxiety, perfectionism, OCD, depression, bipolar disorder, emotion dysregulation, sleep difficulties, life transitions, and other general life stressors.

Maggie also has experience working with clients with perinatal mental health concerns, enabling her to adapt psychotherapy approaches to support individuals during pregnancy and the postpartum period.

Drawing from evidence-based practices such as cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based techniques, and emotion regulation skills, she collaborates closely with her clients to develop personalized treatment plans that foster healing and growth.

Maggie is also passionate about supporting those who identify as part of the 2SLGBTQ+ community. With a deep understanding of the unique challenges that queer and trans communities encounter, she tailors her therapeutic approach to meet their specific mental and emotional health needs.

In her free time, Maggie enjoys doing yoga, crocheting, and playing with her cat and bunnies.
