Camille is a graduate of McMaster University’s Bachelor of Applied Sciences in Human Behaviour program and Master of Science in Psychotherapy program at McMaster University. Her education and training have focused on Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based approaches to childhood and adolescent anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder and related difficulties, emotion regulation, relationship concerns, self-esteem, and areas of living specific to adolescent life. Camille acquired training at St. Joseph’s Anxiety Research and Treatment Centre (ATRC) where she was trained in CBT for social anxiety disorder, panic and agoraphobia, trans-diagnostic anxiety and mood disorders for youth, and obsessive-compulsive difficulties in adults, youth, and their families.
In addition, Camille has experience working with youth facing homelessness and substance-related challenges as well as supporting children in McMaster’s paediatric inpatient, oncology, and eating disorders units. In addition to her clinical experience and training, she has also been involved in research at the Anxiety Treatment and Research Centre and the Offord Centre for Child Studies.
Camille enjoys working collaboratively with children, adolescents, and families who are struggling with mental health concerns or areas of living that aren’t feeling optimal. She has a warm and curious approach and believes in fostering the unique strengths of those she works with.
